Legito – Corporate Social Responsibility
Have you ever heard about CSR or Corporate Social Responsibility? CSR is a term used for companies that try to maximize their positive impact on the society while minimizing their negative. Many companies are actively involved in ecologic, social or ethical world issues, but they can also be active in the area of consumer and human rights.
In Legito we thought about becoming a socially responsible company, so we started thinking about how we could contribute to society. Most of us liked the idea that we start helping non-profit organizations make legal documents.
So we have provided our Legito software to non-profit organizations and we offer them free use of a wide range of contracts. Until now they had to pay for lawyers. We believe that non-profit organizations should save money and use their funds for more necessary things.
Currently we provide legal documents to one of the largest non-profit organizations, Amnesty International, which promotes respect for human rights.
We want to help beyond our business and so in the future we plan to organize the collection and seminars for non-profit organizations.
Feedback on the usage of Legito provided us George Krupa from Amnesty International Czech Republic:
“We are trying to minimize the costs associated with our mission, so thanks to Legito we save a lot of money that would have to go otherwise to lawyer.”
We highly appreciate cooperation with NGOs and we are open to other organizations whom we could help.
